Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before requesting services, enrolling in our Home Care Plan, or using our website. By engaging our services or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC ("A-Z Plumbing," "we," "us," or "our") and customers, website visitors, and Home Care Plan members ("you" or "your"). These Terms apply to all plumbing and mechanical services we provide, our website at a-zplumber.com, and our Home Care Plan membership program.

Section 1

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting a service request or contact form, scheduling a service appointment, signing a service agreement or proposal, or enrolling in our Home Care Plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you are requesting services on behalf of a business, property owner, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" refers to both you individually and the entity you represent.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Section 2

Services

A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC provides commercial and residential plumbing and mechanical services in the Puget Sound region, including new construction, tenant improvement, service and repair, and multi-family plumbing. Our website provides information about our services and allows customers to submit inquiries and estimate requests.

All services are subject to a written service agreement, proposal, or work order accepted by both parties prior to commencement of work. Information provided on our website — including service descriptions, general pricing references, and membership benefits — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer or guarantee of availability.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including requests that fall outside our service area, scope of expertise, or current capacity.

Section 3

Estimates, Proposals, and Written Agreements

Estimates and proposals provided by A-Z Plumbing are based on information available at the time of assessment and are subject to change if actual conditions differ from those observed or described. An estimate is not a guaranteed price unless expressly stated as a fixed-price proposal in a signed written agreement.

Work will not commence until a written service agreement, proposal, or work order has been accepted by the customer. Verbal agreements, text messages, or email exchanges do not constitute a binding service agreement unless confirmed in a signed written document.

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before additional work is performed. See Section 7 for additional terms regarding changes in scope.

Section 4

Scheduling, Cancellations, and Customer Responsibilities

Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred scheduling window, but specific arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of field service work.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with reasonable advance notice will not incur a fee. Cancellations made with insufficient notice or failure to provide access to the work site at the scheduled time may result in a trip charge or rescheduling fee.

You are responsible for ensuring that the work site is accessible, safe, and ready for the scheduled service. This includes providing clear access to plumbing systems, shutoff valves, and any areas where work is to be performed. Delays caused by site conditions outside our control may affect scheduling and pricing.

You are responsible for notifying us of any known hazardous conditions, pre-existing damage, or unusual circumstances at the work site prior to the start of work.

⚑ Attorney Review: Confirm whether you want to specify a cancellation window (e.g., 24 or 48 hours) and any specific trip charge amount. Current language uses "reasonable notice" as a placeholder.

Section 5

Payments, Deposits, and Invoicing

Payment terms are as stated in the applicable service agreement or proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of work. For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling or commencing work, with the balance due upon completion.

Invoices not paid within the time stated on the invoice may be subject to a late payment fee or interest charge as permitted by Washington law. We reserve the right to suspend or decline future services for accounts with outstanding balances.

We accept payment by the methods stated on your invoice or service agreement. For Home Care Plan membership billing, see Section 6.

⚑ Attorney Review: Confirm your actual deposit policy — whether a deposit is required, the amount or percentage, and whether it is refundable if the project is cancelled. Confirm your late payment fee or interest rate, if any.

Section 6

Home Care Plan Membership and Recurring Billing

The A-Z Home Care Plan is a monthly membership program offered at $29.99 per month. Membership benefits, included services, and any applicable restrictions are described in the separate Home Care Plan Membership Agreement, which governs the specific terms of your membership. These Terms & Conditions apply to all members in addition to the Membership Agreement.

By enrolling in the Home Care Plan, you authorize A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Your membership will automatically renew each month until cancelled.

You may cancel your Home Care Plan membership at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or (253) 386-0897. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify the monthly membership fee with reasonable advance notice. If you do not agree to a fee change, you may cancel your membership before the new rate takes effect.

Payment processing for Home Care Plan memberships is handled by Stripe, Inc. By enrolling, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize Stripe to process recurring charges on our behalf. A-Z Plumbing does not store your complete payment card information. See Section 14 for additional information about third-party payment processing.

Section 7

Changes in Scope and Unforeseen Conditions

Plumbing and mechanical work sometimes reveals conditions that were not visible or known at the time of the original estimate. If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work — such as corroded pipes, hidden damage, code violations, or structural issues — we will notify you promptly and provide a written change order describing the additional work required and its cost.

Work will not proceed beyond the original agreed scope without your written authorization. If you decline to authorize necessary additional work, we reserve the right to stop work and invoice for services completed to that point.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or damage caused by conditions that were not reasonably discoverable prior to commencement of work.

Section 8

Permits, Inspections, and Code Requirements

Where required by applicable law, local ordinance, or building code, A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC will obtain the necessary permits for work performed. Permit fees, when applicable, will be identified in the project proposal or change order.

All work is performed in accordance with applicable Washington State plumbing codes and local jurisdiction requirements. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured Washington State plumbing contractor.

You are responsible for ensuring that any work performed by other contractors or parties at your property complies with applicable codes. We are not responsible for code violations or conditions created by others.

⚑ Attorney Review: Confirm whether permit fees are included in your standard proposals or billed separately. Confirm your Washington State contractor license number if you wish to include it here.

Section 9

Workmanship and Manufacturer Warranties

A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC provides a one-year workmanship warranty on qualifying plumbing repairs and installations, beginning on the date the work is completed. This warranty covers defects resulting directly from our workmanship.

This warranty does not cover manufacturer defects or product failures unrelated to our workmanship; customer misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications to work we performed; normal wear and tear; existing plumbing defects or conditions outside our contracted scope; damage caused by freezing, flooding, external forces, acts of nature, or other conditions unrelated to our workmanship; or work performed or altered by other contractors after our installation.

Materials and equipment installed by A-Z Plumbing may be covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by their respective manufacturers. We will assist you in understanding applicable manufacturer warranties, but we are not responsible for manufacturer warranty claims or product failures.

To request warranty service, contact A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical at [email protected] or (253) 386-0897. Warranty claims are subject to reasonable inspection and verification to confirm that the reported issue falls within the scope of our workmanship warranty.

If a signed project agreement expressly states different or additional warranty terms for a specific project, those terms will govern that project. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any warranty rights you may have under applicable Washington State law.

Section 10

Intellectual Property and Website Content

All content on our website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and service descriptions — is the property of A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may view and print website content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use our website content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

The A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Washington law.

⚑ Attorney Review: Limitation of liability clauses in residential service contracts are subject to Washington consumer protection law. An attorney should review this section before publishing, particularly for residential customers.

Section 12

Text Messaging and Customer Communications

A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical communicates with customers through manually sent text messages from our business phone number. We do not currently operate an automated SMS marketing program.

These may include appointment confirmations, scheduling communications, responses to your inquiries, service updates, estimates, project coordination, and follow-up communications concerning services you have requested.

Providing your phone number through our website or service request forms does not automatically constitute consent to receive promotional or marketing text messages. We will only send promotional messages if you have separately and affirmatively agreed to receive them.

Message Frequency: Message frequency will vary based on your service activity and the nature of your communications with us.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages sent to or received from us, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting Out: If you prefer not to receive nonessential text communications from us, you may let us know by replying to our business number or contacting us directly at [email protected] or (253) 386-0897. We will honor your request promptly.

Privacy: Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Future Automated Messaging: If we introduce an automated or promotional text messaging program in the future, we will obtain appropriate consent and provide all legally required disclosures before activating that program.

Section 15

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, we encourage you to contact us directly to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly by contacting us at [email protected] or (253) 386-0897.

⚑ Attorney Review: This section uses Pierce County courts and Washington law without mandatory arbitration. If you prefer arbitration or a different venue, an attorney should revise this section before publishing.

Section 16

General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any signed service agreement, proposal, or work order and our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and A-Z Plumbing & Mechanical, LLC with respect to the subject matter herein, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
